As a Kaiawhina, our journey of supporting mamas and whanau throughout their pregnancy and parenting has spanned over 20 years. Our goal is to provide tailored care that meets the unique needs of each mama and whanau, starting from conception. We offer a range of services, including antenatal education delivered in both group settings and one-on-one sessions. Our practical support ensures that you are prepared for your baby's arrival, while personalized advice, education, and care are provided to address your specific needs and preferences.
Beyond pregnancy, we continue to accompany you through the early years of parenting, offering guidance, education, and care that supports your tamariki as they progress through developmental stages. We celebrate the wonder of your baby's brain and the joy that comes with parenthood and whanau experiences, while also acknowledging the challenges that may arise. Working closely with our dedicated Well Child Tamariki Ora nurse, we provide a holistic approach to ensure comprehensive support for you and your pepi.
In addition to our core services, we are supported by a qualified safe sleep kaimahi, champion in SUDI prevention (Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy). We are committed to educating our community on safe sleep practices, our qualified safe sleep kaimahi can actively distribute Wahakura, traditional woven bassinets, to create a safe sleeping environment for our precious pepi.
